Branding yourself sounds blah but it’s super power I’m coming to terms with and trying to implement using the teachings of Jessie Van Breugel. Everything is built on iteration.
Everything we know is built upon iteration. So is personal branding. You don’t have to re-invent the wheel, just iterate and bring your personal flavor to it.
Identify what you’re passionate about
Clarify your voice and unique value\
Apply it and refine it.
To do that you have to know how you position yourself. Use the following personal branding statement:
I am _____________. I help _____________ to get ______________________ and this is how they get it _______________________.
To answer this framework properly, first answer these four questions:
What are you really good at and what results can you bring with 100% confidence?
Who is your ideal customer? Who is most likely to buy from you?
Why are they buying your product? What’s their desired outcome?
How do they get this result?
What’s the process? A Content flywheel.
Content flywheel for self positioning as a creator
Having a strategic framework for your content will help you be both consistent and provide valuable information and content for your audience. Remember, the key goal is to always be providing value to them.
